Amanda Xiao, born in Toronto and raised in Beijing, discovered her passion for art at an early age. She dedicated much of her free time to studying in a professional artist studio, honing her skills in realism and contemporary techniques, and showcasing her talent in a variety of mediums. Amanda has organized and curated art shows, including one at Casa Loma to support youth art programs and an Indigenous art exhibition that travelled from Toronto to New York. Her work has won recognition, including a Certificate of Merit from the Portrait Society of Canada. Amanda is also a published author and is currently preparing for a personal show while also volunteering at the Flag Art Foundation in New York. Her artistic journey is ongoing, with new projects and opportunities constantly on the horizon as she strives to inspire and connect through her work.
